ABOUT
I work on topics that I consider important for myself and for the entire society. That's why I intuitively discover intersections between my 'own story' or even 'personal mythology' and global themes and mythologies. I draw inspiration primarily from the reflection of social movements and ideologies that declare holistic and emancipatory programs and strategies.
Over the past ten years, I have naturally gravitated towards terrestrial (scouting and woodcraft, land art, permaculture, climate movement, etc.), psychosomatic (yoga, flower power), and cosmological (cosmogram, magic, Google, etc.) practices. Engaging with these cognitive frameworks and techniques allows me to create and expand the realm of mythologies, magical transformations, and latent imaginative projections.
My primary forms of expression are drawing and painting, along with associated installation and institutional contexts. Exploring the connection and comparison of these communication techniques with the aforementioned social phenomena has fueled my interest in the process of cognitive schematization—the formation of a visual schema for understanding the world.
I delved into the relationship between visual schemas and philosophical thought in my dissertation, 'Images of Philosophy and Embodied Mind,' and I am further expanding on this concept in my ongoing Cosmogram project. In this project, I collaborate with experts from various fields and engage in dialogues with non-human entities to create an image of the cosmos.
